QUEST FOR THE LUMBERJACK

A long time ago, in a faraway country, there was a horrible lumberjack called The Lumberjack who killed and ate all the elves in the country. The Elf Council chose four elves to find his secret hideout and kill the lumberjack. Their names were …

M- Ok elves, we have been chosen especially for this mission. First we must travel 100km in 3 days to the Old Elf. He will help us find The Lumberjack.

F- 100km?! You’re joking!

R- He’s not.

A- Can I take my teddy bears? They hate it when I leave them.

M- You’re weird. No you can’t take your teddy bears. Teddy bears don’t have feelings stupid.

A points to his head and then to M to show that he thinks he’s crazy.  He takes the teddy bears and puts them in his bag when M isn’t looking.

R- Come on. Let’s stop time-wasting. Let’s go!

After 13 km

F- Look! There’s a body on the side of the road!

M-Mm… I don’t like that.

A- Look! He moved.

M- Hello.

T- Hello! It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it?

M- Yes.

T- Do you know what – I really like sleeping.

M- Do you? That’s interesting….NOT!  Anyway, we haven’t got all day. Can you tell us where we can find the Old Elf?

T- I really like sleeping!

F- You already said that!

a- Yes, you did!

R- Can you answer our question, please. We’re in a bit of a hurry.

T- Oh! Of course, come here. Do you see this map? Well, we’re here and the Old Elf is there. Is that clear?

A- You say he’s here, but I don’t see him.

T – He’s HERE (pointing at the map on the table again)

F- I don’t see him either.

M- No, you idiots - he’s pointing at the MAP! The Old Elf is here on the map, not here on the table!!
