FOUR REASONS WHY YOU SHOULDN’T BE A ‘HEAD’

Mahmoud’s father and Nirina’s mother have been called to the Headmistress’ office. Nirina has had really bad grades and Mahmoud hit the teacher in class.

Julie: So, I’ve called you here today because of your son’s bad behavior.

Mathias: Why? Has he been a naughty little boy? Did my precious baby boy do something wrong?

Julie: Oh nothing…apart from KILLING THE TEACHER!

Mathias: WHAT?

Julie: ARE YOU DEAF? (shouting) I SAID HE KILLED THE TEACHER!

Mathias: My son – what have you done? Didn’t I tell you it was wrong to kill?

Mahmoud: Yeah, but you said teachers were stupid and that the world would be better off without them.

Mathias (laughing nervously): Ha ha. No, son, I said that teachers were valuable members of society and that they should be paid more money for the work they do.

Mahmoud: No, you said they were stupid, that they were paid too much, and that they had too many holidays!

Mathias: No no, you misunderstood me. Anyway, don’t try to change the subject – you mustn’t kill the teacher, son. It’s bad.

Julie: What do you mean “it’s bad”?!!! It’s a terrible crime. I’ve called the police - they’ll be here any minute soon. He’ll spend the rest of his life in prison.

Mahmoud: You want a piece of me lady? You want a piece of me?

Mathias (to Head): I think you’re over-reacting…

Inès arrives

Ines: oh, sorry I am late; I couldn’t decide what dress to wear! So why I am here, anyway?I’m a busy woman, you know – I have a manicure this afternoon, and after that I’ve got to make my Chihuahua to the hairdresser’s.

Julie: Show some respect please! I’ve called you here because of your daughter’s really bad grades.

Ines(looking disgusted): You called me here for that. Is the horrible lady annoying you honeybun?

Nirina: Mom, don’t call me that in public please. You know I hate it when you call me that.

Mahmoud: Honeybun? That’s funny! (He laughs)
